The Nationals Member for Gippsland South, Danny O’Brien, meeting with Gormandale parents about school bus routes.

“It was a pleasure to visit to Gormandale and Rosedale this week to discuss the state government issues that are impacting local residents,” Mr O’Brien said.

“Among the many concerns raised were school bus issues, river management, proposed transmission lines and disability issues.

“Getting out and about and listening to the concerns of locals is the best part of my job and now I will get on with what is sometimes the hardest part – solving their issues!”

Mr O’Brien said he is continuing to visit towns across his electorate to meet with residents, many of whom who might otherwise not be able to meet with him.

“These visit not only allow me to get out into the towns to see the implications of the issues being raised first-hand, but they also allow me to meet face-to-face with constituents who might not be able to make it in to my Sale office for a meeting.

“Over the next few months I will be continuing to meet with locals in their home towns including the towns of Boolarra, Yinnar, Yinnar South, Toongabbie and Cowwarr which will be joining the electorate of Gippsland South as of November this year.”
