Congratulations to the Gippsland South stars who will be representing Australia in the 2024 Paris Olympics over the coming weeks.

Nyora’s Keefer Wilson will kick off his Olympics in the prelims of men’s skateboarding park on 7 August at 8.30pm, and all going well we will also be able to watch him in the finals at 1.30am 8 August.
Off the back of her World Championship title in 2022, Leongatha’s Eleanor Patterson will start her third Olympics on 2 August at 6.15pm in the women’s high jump qualification with the finals being held on 5 August at 3.50am.
Leongatha’s skeet shooter Aislin Jones will see her second Olympic appearance with qualification day 1 on 3 August at 5pm, with qualification day 2 starting 4 August at 5.30pm ahead of the skeet women’s final at 11.30pm.
Former Leongatha premiership coach Beau Vernon will take to the floor for mixed wheelchair rugby in the Paralympics against Great Britain on 29 August at 11.30am before taking on France on 30 August at 7.30 pm and Denmark on 31 August at 1.30pm. The mixed wheelchair rugby finals will then commence on 1 September.
