Changes to state government future flood planning have left coastal vacant landowners in limbo as they wait to find out whether they will be allowed

"The people of South Gippsland are being encouraged to put their name to a fix for the dangerous and chaotic intersection of the South Gippsland Highway in Leongatha."
There would be few things that I hear more complaints about in South Gippsland than the South Gippsland Highway intersection at McCartin, Roughead, Long and Hughes Streets.
This Petition draws to the attention of the Legislative Assembly the dangerous and confusing state of the main South Gippsland Highway intersection in Leongatha and requests that the Legislative Assembly calls on the Andrew Labor Government to fund design and construction of stage two of the Leongatha Heavy Vehicle Alternative Route as soon as possible.
